Lol at Oink having a "range" on the button. "I haz two cards" seems to be enough...

To OP, I'm not going to hate on your PF stats as much, they are a *little* tight for 1/2 and 2/4, but not ridiculously so. HOWEVER, your combination of high AF and low WTSD leads me to believe that you are playing too fit-or-foldy post flop.

Raneg on button is somewhere bewteen 50% and any2

Mostly between 50-60%

IMO its much more important to learn how to adapt

OP. Check out Stox book. Its very very good on preflop

Oink,

If you like stox's pf reccommendations so much then why do you play so many more hands than he does? I'm being serious. Or are you suggesting that stox book is good for someone like op to go from nitty to average aggression pf?

I ask because I've been able to get my vpip up to around 24.5 from about 21.5 and wonder if I should keep going or just roll with what I have for now.

Yeah, i guess that's what i was thinking. "Stox's book is a good place to start...but if you can open up and crush souls, then that is better."

do you think that's true? i've gotten the idea that it's not avisable to tighten up much more than stox reccommends. Obviously against certain oponents it's fine, i'm just speaking generally.

Cuz people in my games respond to it like Miles does in the threads.

On a serious note

I am not sure I could get away with it in higher stakes. But in the games I play people respond to loose play really poor

I wouldnt have siad it if I didnt think its true :-D

If I sit at a PS table and see Papa Warbucks to my left you can be sure I'm tightening my blind stealing range up a bit. Against people who play a bad you can play a lot more hands.
