Default AJ hand

I raise somewhere in EMP with AJo, someone cold calls, both blinds call.

SB is a standard regular who plays a decent preflop game but just doesn't quite get it. All I know about cold caller is that he's old and just cold called my raise first in.

Flop is QJTr. SB donks, BB folds, I call, LP calls.

Turn is a 4. SB checks, I bet, they both call.

River is a 7. SB checks, I check, LP bets without hesitation, SB folds, I fold.

Played it perfect. SB has a K, LP has a Q. Easy peasy.

Seems like there has to be a better line here.

Raising the flop seems better to me. Might make LP go away?

How do you feel the 7 on the river helped the LP? I guess he has a Q. Good fold.

raising the flop isnt going to make LP fold anything you want him to, and if you get 3 bet then the hand becomes a trainwreck.

aye aye Kit, but that's not the only reason we raise flops. Sometimes it's for free cards
Still though, I like the flatcall

Is there any reason why he wouldn't bet KJ here without hesitation?
