Default WTF?? BetRoyal Phone Calls, nine.com sold our phone numbers!

What a bunch of bastards. Anyone else getting daily calls from BetRoyal? I haven't been answering the random 800 number but today was the 3rd day they called me so I figured I would ask what is up. Bastards with BetRoyal starts trying to get me to sign up. He told me that some of nine.com's management went to BetRoyal and they want me there for football season.

I told him that I quit gambling. He then offers me a signup bonus. I tell him this again and he still tries to get me to signup. Finally I acted like I was crying, told him I lost everything last season including my wife and house and then I told him to never call again.

I wonder what the odds are that those fccukers at BetRoyal continue to call. Probably a 90% chance. I hope no one is with them.

pretending to cry seems weird?

Just tell them to never call you again. They probably will but it's your best chance I suspect.

Either that or just don't answer the phone when they call if you recognize the number.
I usually don't answer unlisted numbers because I assume it's somebody who can leave a message if it's anything important.

I was getting calls semi-regularly from a couple of "buy my picks" scam artists fairly regularly but fortunately that seems to have stopped of late. But football season is coming so I wouldn't be surprised if they started bugging me again.

My old roommate was the one who gave me the idea about answering calls like this. Act like you are a suicidal degenerate gambler who lost everything and hopefully they wont call back. He said this worked for him, but with a site like BetRoyal I doubt they leave it at that.

Seriously, though, ask them for tips on how to effectively gnome VIP/Nine and they will probably leave you alone.

There was a scene in an old sit-com that a friend told me about. I think it might have been Bob Saget on Full House or something.

In one scene he picks up the phone and says "thank you" over and over again.
After he hangs up he says, "23! A New record!!!"
Some other character who caught the tail-end of it, "Huh?"
"When a telemarketer calls I like to see how many times I can say 'thank you' over and over again until they give up and end the call."

What is funny is that I got bonus banned from nine.com for their casino bonuses. I had gnomed them from like 4 different accounts before I was shutdown.
