Re: ***Heroes - 02/26/07***
lol, the same people who think lost sucks now, just wait until S3 of Heroes and see how you feel. Lost's S1 was roughly one billion times better than S1 of Heroes.

[/ QUOTE ] Heroes will go the way of 24 more than it will Lost. Shows which have huge amounts of character development, along with character driven storylines, always do better than situational based programs with minor amounts of character development. Heroes has taught us more about the events around the series and everything leading up to it in 2/3 of a season than Lost has in the entire first two seasons. |

Re: ***Heroes - 02/26/07***
I hope heroes goes neither way of lost or 24. Lost, where nothing is answered and seems dragged out, 24 where everything is answered but we've seen it happen 16 times before in the previous 4 seasons.

[/ QUOTE ] QFT People are too impatient when it comes to LOST especially since a lot of people watched it in DVD. I watched S1 in three days, watching shows on a weekly basis becomes incredibly frustrating when you have experienced it the other way. |

Re: ***Heroes - 02/26/07***
Sure, but when everything (or almost everything) is explained, what's left? It's like Twin Peaks. When you find out who killed Laura Palmer, there's no more reason to watch.
Heroes is probably going to fast and will just blow its load while Lost is going a bit too slow and people are losing interest. It's balance. |

Re: ***Heroes - 02/26/07***
I'm having a tough time phrasing this, so if it doesn't make sense, sorry.
In Lost, the only reason to answer questions is to benefit the viewer to understand the ongoings of island. The characters are oblivious to the past and only have a narrow-minded view of what they need to do. In Heroes, the characters need to find answers in order to find a resolution. The past affects them. |

[ QUOTE ] I think that Claude may have been hiding Simone's dad, Charles (?) Devoux, and he could dream (?) the future (?). I suspect this because of Peter's dreams of flying, etc. when he was Devoux's nurse. Didnt read the thread, don't know if someone said this already. [/ QUOTE ] I think this is highly unlikely, because whoever simone's dad was, was involved with the company - didn'y you notice that HRG "adopted" claire on his balcony? Maybe Claude was hiding Simone? [/ QUOTE ] That'd be terrible with her dead now. Or maybe she isn't? Maybe she has "come back from the grave" powers. |
