Pokerstars travel GCs--any experiences?
Has anyone used these? I'm wondering about things like ease of use, how high the fees are, whether they actually get good rates on hotels and airfare, if there's a good variety of hotel options in various cities (if I get it, it'd be for European travel). Would really appreciate hearing any comments from people who've "bought" them.
Thanks! |

Re: Pokerstars travel GCs--any experiences?
I gave the $2500 travel certificate as a gift for my folks to travel from the States to Tuscany this coming Spring. Both Stars and ePlatinum were easy to deal with, no problems. The rates on air travel and hotel were fine, not bargain basement but competitively inexpensive. I cannot speak to hotel options, as eplatinum merely fulfilled a given request and was not asked for options for hotels. I only had limited contact with eplatinum however my father who is experienced in such things says it was professional and not pricey. Hope this helps.

I cashed in on a $500 one......smooth redemption process. Pokerstars had the certificate issued within 24 hours.
