Default Early NFL Team Props-Wins during season.

On Bodog

Oakland Raiders:
5 Wins
(-135)o
(+105)u

Like over here. Had awful season last year, and while they are in a tough division, they have some weak teams to face:
Week 1- Home vs. Lions
Week 3- Home vs. Browns
Week 4- Home vs. Miami
Week 9- Home vs. Texans
Week 11- Home. vs. Vikings
Other games that might be close:
Week 7- Home vs. Chiefs
Week 14- Away at Packers

Should I even be making these early bets before pre-season starts? Also, any other teams you like, one way or the other:

If you want to bet over a low number, or under a high number, bet it early.

I checked the lines and nothing seemed obviously out of whack and the Oakland line seems about right to me. There is probably some value in a few of those bets but I would hate to have money tied up in a book right now until January unless the bet had obvious big value.

I concur. The time value of money until January is about 3% given current money market rates of about 5%. Then there is the chance, even if it is small, that the offshore casino isn't around to pay you in the future. Given the current political situation, I wouldn't be comfortable with long term futures bets offshore.
