FWIW I used to work with a couple of gay dudes. One of them had a super messed up dad situation, the other didn't.

Small sample size but I think it's just the way some people are.

I mean hetero people aren't all into the same stuff, doesn't it make some sense that some dudes would be into dudes?

Also based on my sample size, gay dudes are [censored] hilarious and have better senses of humor than most.

We had a gay kid in my flat at Uni when I was first there. He was unbeleivably shy/rude to us. We made a tonne of effort to make friends with him, invited him to sit with us in the living room, invited him out drinking etc. but he just said no every time and stayed in his room the whole time. I think he must have just come out or something. I admit it kinda wierded me out a bit having a gay ghost-person living in the same flat as me. lol gays.
