chicago area nightlife?

Hi I am will be in chicago from sunday-friday and was wondering if anyone could help me out with some pointer's. I will be there with 3 co-workers and we are looking for some decent bars close to skokie.

Next week will be a great time to be on the north side. If you are in Skokie I would highly recommend cabbing down to Wrigeyville on a night when the Cubs are playing. It'll be playoffs and the party will be on in the bars. There are quite a few good bars right outside the ballpark.

if you stay in the north burbs, the Glen in Glenview has several very nice bars/resturaunts. It's very easy to get to and is worth checking out if you don't head into the city.

If you want a good place to eat near skokie, check out the Hackney's on Harms or on Lake. Both are in glenview.
