Default Two A-high hands

Unlucky continousely 2 Ax hands weren't floped. Agaisnt the aggresive villains would you play differently?

First: the villain played very aggressive pre-flop and his 3bet range is also very wild. I guess he had ATo+,A7s+,KJ+ & 66+.

I'd usually cap pre but against a very aggressive player I don't mind occasionally calling and letting him spew away with AQ. This guy seems pretty reasonable though.

Hand 2 looks good, 3-betting pre an option as well.

Then why the hell didnt you cap preflop?

Btw thats a pretty standard 3-bet range against a TAG in the HJ.

The A9 hand I 3-bet preflop and take it from there.

In hand 1 you are hoping he 3 barrels KQ. If he doesnt you should just c/f the river. I really think you played the hand poor. When people starts 3-betting you, you do NOT want to turn into a predictable player who just plays back his better hands and calls down his marginal hands. He is gonna value own you to death.

The call down in hand 2 is better. But as said, I 3-bet preflop

And by standard I mean not very loose. Most likely too tight depending on how Hero plays
