Default 2.25FTP Flopped two Pair with Bad texture.

Table had been extremely tight. No real reads on villain, though seemed to be a tight player. no one left was loose like usual at this level. Usually pretty rare to have six people left at this level of blinds.

Help me play this hand.

Stack sizes:
UTG: t1810
UTG+1: t3150
CO: t2490
Button: t1835
SB: t1665
Hero: t2550

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
2 folds, CO calls t160 <font color="aaaaaa">(pot was t240)</font>, 2 folds, 2 folds, Hero checks.

Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (t400, 2 players)
Hero checks, CO checks.(Would a CRAI been OK had villain bet?)

Turn: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (t400, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets t300</font>, <font color="#cc0000">CO raises to t600</font>, <font color="#cc0000"> t2390</font>, <font color="#cc0000">CO calls all-in t1730</font>.
Uncalled bets: t60 returned to Hero.

River: 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (t5060, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: t5060)

Is the AI bet a bit reckless or OK?

Final pot: t5060

Bet the flop here always. You have a very good hand, that is vulnerable. Do not give free cards. Players at the $2.25 will stack off with much worse than you have, on the flop. They will stack off with any A and probably the FD. Put them to a decision on the flop.

As for the turn. I would probably call and re-evaluate the river.

Against a player who limped in you can't really expect him to bet the flop a ton (as opposed to if he was the pfr). I would be bet/3betting the flop.

Its so sick, I ran into Aces here. I am not sure I could have even got away from this hand, unless.... I fold turn, and I just do not have the will power.

Pot the flop here. CRAI is probably not too bad either, but I really don't want villain checking behind so I probably don't risk it.

On the turn, when he minraises you it looks like he either thinks you're stealing or he hit a queen. Given he didn't raise in position pf, I'm inclined to think we're ahead and want to get the money in here. Sucks if he flopped the flush.

Villain limped with AA.... but you made me think about the check behind trying for CRAI..... definitely not wanting villain to check behind.

Yeah, I saw the post about aces after I'd posted (took me a while to post that because I wound up distracted about halfway through). That's just nasty, but I guess it happens. I still think the play was right, given the info you had at the time. Swear a little, make a note, move on. =p

Im looking to get it AI on the flop. CHECKING DOES NOT DO THIS. We cant expect him to bet as he did not raise preflop.
