22 hand,

You could 3-bet him on this flop, but it'd be a very thin value bet imo. He's either got TP and unlikely to go away, or he has a FD.

I'd just let it go.

Villian is sethypoopoo. He seemed solid and had a nice stack on 2 tables I was on with him. I forget his stats, but they weren't anything abnormal.

When someone donks out on that flop I'd weight their range much more towards flush draws than a Q or set.

That being said, I still might pot control the turn and snap off a bluff on the river. But, I don't think your line is fine. But, if you bet on the turn I think it's to protect against the flush draw, which makes calling the river kinda mandatory.

I'd really expect a c/r at some point with a set, and a smaller river bet (blocking bet) with a Q.

[/ QUOTE ]

How does a bet of $22 into a pot of $51 protect against a flush draw? Even in position that's offering some juicy implied odds. To really protect against it, I would think it would be necessary to bet more like 3/4 pot and also feel fine about felting 2nd pair on that turn and almost all non-[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] rivers.

The most difficult step IMO is to get PT set up to auto-import your hand histories. Wiggs wrote a good SOP for this that's linked in the FAQ.

True. I don't look close enough at bet sizing in these HH. As played, the bet really doesn't have much purpose at all. Like you said it doesn't really price them out, while it isn't a great spot to bet strictly for value.

Isn't this a fist pumping shove vs a loose player? It seems to me the minraise is going to be stuff like AT KT pretty often.

The issue I had is that I'm probably never WA of his range, but can be drawing very slim when behind.

Right, but if you call youve got half your stack in the pot. If you fold, youre folding the best hand often. If you shove, guys like this call with TX and draws a lot.

Wow, that's a pretty nasty spot. So much of his range has you in a bad spot already and it seems your best case is he's on a draw with lots of outs. I think I would fold.
