don't love a pre shove with 200K but in this case I like a bigger raise than 40K...by opening to 60K you are announcing you ar playing this pot strong and making it pricey for the big stack to speculate...part of this is results oriented (don't post results) but I still like to anounce to the bigger stacks that they are calling a bet that may lead to a 200K hit...

This is just a sucky situtation. I think with 200k you still have enough to make a standard steal in LP (40k raise), so you should be able to make that same raise UTG. Changing raise size bc you are utg not only takes away value from your big hand, but also makes your steals look fishier later. I like the way you played it, just sucks when k8s makes a flush. Flops comes down high card king, you push, and he sees the reverse implied odds of playing k8.

If we use Bonds "True BB" to evaluate, it becomes a simple shove with ~ 8 true bb's. Getting cute here is a bad idea, we've been shoving why stop with this hand in this position? We have a drawing hand we don't want to play oop on a wiffed flop with this stack, and it gives us our full 5 cards which this hand really needs at this stage of the tourney.

This probably is a push pre-flop, unfortunate results when you get so many callers which allows the K8s to play, but just push

I mean when I opened, the SS messed everything up (he was tight for his stack too). Started the chain reaction of calling.. There hasn't been a 3 way pot forever, table was playing fairly tight. I* shouldve just shoved, it was retarded what I did.

Definetly shove preflop with this stack and these blinds/antes.
