100NL: Sexytime?

villain is a bad LAG, 34/13, with a street by street postflop AF of 2.3/2.3/3.3. My table image is once again dead-terrible, and ive had to give up a ton after missed c-bets. i think hes capable of a complete float here, any K w/ a decent kicker, random PPs occasionally. i think he prob raises the flop with most FDs, but he could have a really crappy one here. Im guessing he bets this river wider than he can call a bet, so is it sexytime or not?

Is "sexytime" shoving? I don't think that accomplishes much. Check-call again.

yes, sexytime is a check/shove, basically i think we are well ahead of his river betting range, and he can only fold total air if he makes a decent bet here.

i think a) given my image and b) given the pot odds he'll be getting that it will be very hard for him to fold it. also keep in mind that for it to be more +EV than value-betting he only needs to be betting more hands than he calls, and thats if he folds everything to a CRAI, provided we are almost never beat here. Its really close IMO, this felt right at the time because i think a lot of people tend to call very light when they are confused.

edit: that doesnt mean im sure of it, thats why i posted it

If you discount flushes because of his aggression then I like it somewhat better. I hadn't considered it this way.

I'm sure this is a very basic (read: dopey) question, but are you not concerned at all with a flush here? I'm down at 10NL but am always interested in reading and trying to understand the higher level posts. Thanks...

theres really not that much basic about this hand because i am full of FPS [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] my reasoning here is that this player is LAG enough to raise big FDs on the flop, and i cant see him betting so small on the turn with a baby flush becuase a diamond on the river will either kill his action or counterfeit his hand.
