Default omahHAHAHAHA the new party poker

so i watched some CR vids on plo, i read a little bit and spent some time considering the game, I think i have the fundamentals down, I'm beating the SSNL games pretty easily but its mostly because I have yet to encounter a good opponent... everyone is sooooooooooooo bad... they like go all in with under pairs and a FD on like 987 board..

is this standard or are my games really soft?

My guess is that within 20,000 hands you will feel PLO is all luck, and you won't be able to stand the fish for sucking out on you.

Yesterday a guy called a pot bet on a KKK flop with 9 7 5 3r. We then checked turn/river; the sad thing is, he had me beat. His flop call has to be the most absurd thing I've ever seen, though.

Having played Omaha high for 2 years now i learned some things:

looseness and aggressiveness vary dramatically on different sites. Noblepoker seems soft to me whereas Poco loco for example has a lot of lunatics calling, betting and raising alot. Sites with lots of European players are imo harder to beat. For the difficulties in Omaha: i totally agree with luckyjimm. These are the spots where a alot of money is made or burned.

Better players will make marginal calls. I had a cautionary experience a few weeks ago. I sat at $5/$10 on Party with $500, a limit I'd never played before, and the very first hand I was dealt Icalled a raise preflop by a player with a $2500 stack. My hand contained the K of diamonds. The flop came AJ4, three diamonds. I repotted my opponent's continuation bet; he called. I bet the turn for most of my stack, sure that he couldn't have the nut flush and I was showing enormous strength. He re-raised me for my last $40 dollars. I called, knowing I was dead. He had raised me with an 8-high flush!!! Yes, it was good, and I was bust on my first hand.
