Having previously lived in Shreveport, going there isn't anything to get excited about! Good luck though!

Good luck. I've got a buddy playing $4/8 over there right now. He was at the Shoe earlier in the day and last time I talked to him he had gone over to the Eldorado......actually he just called and said he was fixing to head on home.

Hope ya'll have a blast.

Bandit, going to Shreveport is very exciting for those of us who don't have the opportunity to play poker on a daily basis if we want to. Going to Shreveport is a great event for most of us.

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY!!!!!

Cliff notes from this weekend:

Blew 2 buyins in first orbit, then flopped a bazillion sets and they all held. Flopped Quads. Aces held in a $900 pot.

All in all had a very proifitable trip after. Doubled my Live bankroll with this trip. Thanks fish at the Horseshoe in Bossier City.

See you in a couple of weeks.

Will do a session review when I get caught up at work.

I guess not everyone can win!!!!!!!!!!! One pair is usually not good when it goes all in, for future reference.

Well you're excited about playing poker, not excited about Shreveport. Shreveport is a hole that is only slightly reasonable because of the Casinos and to a smaller extent GM.

The being said my first live poker (at a casino) was played in Shreveport at the Hollywood and I walked away a winner, so I can't complain too much about that.

I'm heading back to the Shoe in Shreveport in about 2 hours. Should be there by 1:30 wearing a Tworags.com hat. Say hello if you're in the room!

I guess going to Shreveport could be a great event if you lived in New Orleans and managed to evacuate before Katrina hit and made it to Shreveport to play poker. But thats about the only time
