Re: $3.30 MTT - AQ behind Tight Weak and Unknown, M ~ 8
If I'm raising putting in over 40% of my stack, I'm all-in.
Hero raises to t1210, 2 folds, UTG+1 raises to t1275, MP3 calls t1175. Flop: (t3910) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) Turn: (t3910) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) River: (t3910) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) Final Pot: t3910 Results in white below: UTG+1 has Kh As (one pair, aces). MP3 has Tc Td (one pair, tens). Hero has Ac Qs (one pair, aces). Outcome: UTG+1 wins t3910. I really thought I at least wasn't that far behind. Who would've thought? |

Re: $3.30 MTT - AQ behind Tight Weak and Unknown, M ~ 8
(grunch) It sounds like you have no reasons that either would intentially slowplay a solid hand, although Mr. Weak-Tight may have something. Even weak-tight would tend to raise AA or KK, so AK would be the only hand that can reasonably be feared at this point.
My default play would be to raise to t500 (3xBB + limpers), with the intent on pushing on flop. |
