At a 9 handed table I probably have to be in CO or maybe MP3 to raise first in with this hand. Even this deep. Open limping is out of the question here IMO.

Fold.

this hand plays well postflop a lot of Ax and Kx boards we can c-bet and get respect for while the boards people are more likely to float and make a move on Qxx and Jxx and 910x etc we have a hand to play back at with plus when we flop flushdraw. With these deep stacks Opening strong suited connectors is a must from any position unless the table is in the 3bet and fold mode already which they usually aren't first level with 2.5k starting stacks.

right, yeah. It probably works better against the opponents you will meet in a tourney with a buy in like this one

Raising here is totally standard. My standard raise is 70 here, but 80 or 90 is fine too. 60 is probably too low and stuff.

Fik,
Open lighter in the early levels at lower stakes because the players suck postflop. Open lighter in tourneys than cash because the players suck postflop.

QJs is a totally standard open from 3 off the button, even for pretty nitty players, even in cash.

I open 45s here.
