I have the Dell inspiron E1705 and have been very happy w/ it. It's got a 17' screen which makes 6 tabling pretty easy when I'm traveling, it can support most (if not all) large sized monitors and I've never really had any problems w/ it.

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a new laptop and would love some help. I was very very close to buying an HP but decided I would like to be pretty informed before buying one (unlike my desktop where I just went to Best Buy and bought the one I thought would be good based on price and looks). So for those of you who play poker on a laptop more often, could you give a brief description on why you like/dislike it and if you would recommend it.

Thanks

I got the dell inspiron 1710 (or 1700/1720 but they're similar). 17 inch monitor with good resolution for 4-tabling and a sexy screen. Go for the shiny 1920x1200 screen not the crappy smaller resolution one. Its kinda a beast to lug around, but good if you just use it around the house
