Default Marginal spot....3b pot top pair

villian is 34/16/1.5 havent tangled with him yet but i think hes stationy, is this an easy fold? Does anyone check flop, and what about the turn, anyone like a bet instead of a check? How does this change if villian is agressive?

As played i'd call this and c/f river probably. I can see him betting here with many hands you beat trying to take it away from you.
An alternative line would be to bet out on the turn but i'm not sure if i like that. Hands that call you will have you crushed and you fold out all hands you beat.

yuck... smells like AK. but it can be AJ.

theoretically you should go broke in this spot. Is the 140 + 77 + 77 + 106 = 400ish worth it? I think you should moe in on your opponent as you played it. even if opponent has you beat some of the time, there is already 406 in the pot.

Just figure out whether it is more profitable to check /call here or check raise. If you call here, dont fold river please.

BTW your hand look like QQ or somethig right now if that helps at all.

Also bigger lfop bet would make this less awkward.

This may be poor logic, but if villian is the type of player who floats me w AJ and then fires this turn, with no history, then this is far too marginal of a spot to get my monies in. My edge will be huge at some point later in another hand. Xorbie, what do you feel is a good ammt to bet on this flop?

OK i didnt pay attention to stack sizes. Folding river is horrible if you check/call turn.

i agree to an extent, but then why reraise prelfop with a marginal hand against unknown? after that initial 'mistake', you must play your hand correctly. if you bet flop, you almost have t oget it on turn.
