How can Maddux have won 17 of these? Even if he has been the best fielding pitcher of his era, isn't this going to have large outliers?

I mean a starting pitcher has what, like 40 starts? And maybe gets the chance to field 1 or maybe 2 balls a game? Some year a pitcher, by chance, has 4-5 great plays, shouldn't that be enough?

LOL @ Adam Lind as a top LFer and +11. He is awful defensively.

DLee is a very good defensive player overall, but he didn't have a good year with the glove.
