People, download VLC media player and get this firefox plugin. This has enhanced my mlb.tv viewing experience quite a bit.

I had the same problem. If I had to guess, you probably need the windows media player plugin. I had missing .dll files.

Nothing worse than watching the right guard commercial waiting for to watch a pivotal pitch and missing the whole damn thing. I canceled mine after one month.

Its about doing... what it takes... to win.

and yes mlb.tv is awful. They used to not have commercials, and just show whatever was happening in between innings, and the cameramen would always be zooming in on the hot girls at the stadium and announcers would just be talking. That was a while ago though.

If you have the MLB Extra Innings package at home, I would highly recommend purchasing a Slingbox instead.

Link

It hooks up to your cablebox at home and lets you stream your cable feed over the internet.

I would do this except that last year, Extra Innings showed like no Oakland or Cleveland games.

This is my first year subscribing, so I'm not sure what it was like last year. But this year there are about 14 different channels for MLB Extra Innings broadcasts. I usually flip back and forth between several games a day, including lots of A's and Indians games, and have not had a problem watching any game I wanted (with the exception of games that are on the same time as Fox broadcasts).
