Visit some lucid dreaming forums if you feel loony talking about it here. Not everyone is into the whole dream thing but those people are and you'll probably feel more comfortable talking to them..

I love this, and posted about it in the Lounge. I try to remain conscious during that state on purpose, in order to eventually step into a dream fully aware that it is a dream.

For me it's more a very loud buzzing and vibration, similar to the sound a fax machine makes while connecting. Once you fight through that though, it's peaceful and you can start conjuring up imagery...
