100NL 6-max | 99 Is there a better way to play this hand?

I am new to the table, villain is 22/13/1.9 no other reads, I assume he's solid.

My plan was to c/c on flop and turn if he bets 3/4 pot or less and then block the river. I thought that there is very small chance of him having T and if he had JJ+, he might slow down on the turn and river because there is TT on the flop. Does my reasoning and thinking process make sense?

I like a 3betting here preflop. Against many villains, you will instantly know where you're at. If he 4bets you, you can let it go. It will cost you about 8-10 more bucks to find out if you're hand is good. On this hand you paid 30 bucks and basically had still no idea where you're at.

I'd pot the flop. No one with a worse hand is going to play back at you with those tens up.

Yea, I do it often, but I am new to the table and I like to see how people are playing before I 3bet light and stuff.
