Thoughts on this very passive line? (tilt 6H)
Tilt $75 6H, no terribly specific read on villain, seems averageish.
Blinds 30/60, villain is BB, i am utg+1 with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Me: 3800 him: 5100 Preflop: utg folds, i raise to 180, folds to BB, BB calls. Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (pot 390) BB checks, I check. Turn: A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (pot 390) BB bets 233, hero calls. River: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (pot 856) BB bets 677, hero calls. Thoughts here? Flop seemed safe/harmless and hard to get value from. He seemed content to bet turn for me so I wanted to let him keep betting, and by river i can't see him paying off anything if i raise so call seems standard? You guys disagree? |

Re: Thoughts on this very passive line? (tilt 6H)
i think that getting call value here is greater than the need to push him off a drawing hand, or 'defend/define' your hand flop/turn, since he has Ax so few times. Yes, he doesn't call anything river that you have beat.
The only things you could questions is flop/turn, and I especially like flop to keep him betting (since you have position). |

Standard,
He's not calling your river raise unless you're beat, and he's not calling anything on the turn either if you raise. Let him bet into you |

As long as you bet the flop sometimes, I like. He's not calling a raise with a worse hand at any point.
