well... you have to invite a lot of people to join. what i would do is invite my friends and make a few of them "admins" so they can invite all of their friends and so on. if there are any other groups you're a part of, you can post a link for your group on the discussion board and ask people to join. the best way to do it is have people invite their friends, though, because most people join most groups their invited to. then once they're in the group, you can send mass messages and spam as you please. not too much, because then people will leave the group.
