If there's a player in the NBA who practices the 17-foot one-handed floater off the glass, I bet it's Eddie House.

I didn't mean to use the officials as an excuse earlier, btw. I do think it's favored the Magic, but the worst call of the game came in the first quarter when they whistled somebody for a foul on Garnett in the post, when KG hadn't been touched at all (no one was even bodying him up). They've just been awful.

Celtics played a terrible first half, though. Too much standing around on offense, and the defense hasn't been there. Hopefully we can take some momentum into the fourth.

Is Guokas right about the illegal defense rule? I thought that was a clear defensive three seconds on Howard.

yeah I'm pretty sure he's wrong on it. And he's been doing it all game. But I'll look it up after the game.

I was really surprised that Pollard didn't see minutes until late in the third. The idea that Scalabrine could bang with Howard seems laughable.
