Default Poker Office or Poker Tracker?

I have used Poker Tracker in the past and I started using Poker Office recently. I was wondering what you guys think, which is more efficient for mid-stakes NL cash games, Poker Tracker or Poker Office?

I prefer Poker Tracker, it is compatible with more sites and is the better software in combination with PA HUD imo. Both are fine though, Poker Office has a more easy to use interface than PT.

The big problem for me with PO is it is written in Java so as soon as your DB's get large or you try and run 10 tables at once forget it.

PT has it own problems to, but currently is the better available option, however as I am sure you have seen posted yesterday it seems like a new competitor will be on the market very soon.

I'm using Poker Office and I like it a lot. You should make some searches for threads like this one - I'm sure you'll find a lot.

I use Poker Office and love it, converting the DB to sql helps the speed tremendously. There's a download on Microsoft site for the required thing ya need for SQL.

One disadvantage I can think of is you can get lazy counting outs and figuring pot odds since it will do that for you. Basically don't let the outs counter and hand rankings be a crutch for you. You still need to know if what you're drawing to will win and if any of those outs are counterfeited.

Default Great!

Thanks for the link. Apart from Pokeys post on Tracker, is there a link anywhere on web, which gives you simplistic representations of V$PIP,AF- Preflop/Post Flop, W$SD,W$SF etc. I want to know how to arrive at the Key Tracker attributes for a simpler understanding and better analysis of the game. As some one said in the forum, its a tool which primarily helps you better your game and then later it helps to know ur opponent if you have enough storing of HandHistories.

Warmest Regards
