800, actually. [/ QUOTE ] We are both correct, actually. I meant BB as in big bet and you meant BB as in big blind. Even though no limit does not have a big bet as there is in limit, you can figure out what the equivalent is and go from there. |

Anything else useful in this book, other than bad bankroll advice? [/ QUOTE ] his BR advice on limit hold em was fine. I liked the book overall, and was disappointed that the others didn't end up getting published. |

Re: Mark Blade\'s book(s)
Limit? Someone claimed above it was for NL.
What useful info did you find in it? And is it confirmed that those other volumes won't come out? |

Anything else useful in this book, other than bad bankroll advice? [/ QUOTE ] there was some useful analysis of the effect of rake and bad players on win rates. My only complaint is that the origin numbers is unknown, as though they were pulled from somewhere. |

Re: Mark Blade\'s book(s)
I seriously think the reason the other two books weren't published is that he never wrote them. I think he had a few essays on certain poker concepts and imagined that he would finish the books soon.
I remember him stating that one of his yet to be released books (Professional Poker 3) was his "finest achievement" which was ludicrous since the book almost certainly wasn't written at the time. I think it was on the emotional aspects of poker such as avoiding tilt. Since PP3 was already complete in 2005 why is the expected date for release in early 2008? |
