Re: 200NL - do NOT steal my blinds
I bet this flop for sure because your hand has very little showdown value on the flop so I'd try to take it down right now.
Nobody likes a crai on the turn? (Normally Vilain would have enough chips to fold some AJ types hands). |

I always bet this flop, you get villain to fold out all his medium to small pairs and occasional suited connectors.

I bet this flop but check the turn. He's def. not folding if he called your 3bet and flop bet.

Re: 200NL - do NOT steal my blinds
I don't get all the flop checkers...wtf? I bet this nearly always.
I think the turn is fine. I think alot of his range is like AJ or whatever calling for pc and I think we can get him off his hand pretty easily. Obv shove river if we improve and probably c/fold if we dont. |

Re: 200NL - do NOT steal my blinds
If you are going to bet turn you need to bet more. I would even consider pushing the turn as if you and villain know each other and respect each others game then he is likely to respect your extreme strength in a post like this. As is your turn bet seems kind of weak to me and may induce AQ to come along which you don't want.

[/ QUOTE ]I wasn't going anywhere after my turn bet, so I picked the amount that I felt looks the most strong. I think bet/calling $75 looks stronger than pushing turn which would be a slight overbet which I usually don't make with my monsters in this spot. $85 would probably be better then $75, but I disagree that $75 looks weak. I usually bet this amount when I'm looking for action |
