Default Pretty unstandard QQ spot 200nl

villans stats are fairly nitty at around 24/9 but he had been 3betting me a ton during this session and he was prob playing more like 25/15 aggro is 1.5. I had just stacked him 2 hands eariler when he called my CRAI with JJ on a low flop agaisnt my QQ. So he may be wanting to paly back at me more than usual.

i have no idea what to make of his cold call preflop. does everyone just give up here?

if i didn't actually push preflop part of my reasoning would be that i expected him to make a bigger error postflop than preflop - that is, i expect him to bluff in spots like this or call off his stack postflop super light.

given the preflop action and your opponents 24/9 numbers, you're almost assuredly up against AA-TT. I dont even think AK is calling that 4bet very often here unless he is really gunning for you.

since almost half of your opponents stack went in preflop, he's probably feeling rather committed to this pot regardless of the flop. so i dont think shoving will even get rid of KK here.

the 4bet preflop looks like its putting you in a very tough position. what did you think villain had after he called $54?

he called the 4bet instantly which kinda confused me. Is this 4bet standard here? or should i have made it larger? or flat called and CR a low flop. When he called and checked the A high flop i was pretty much totally lost in the hand.

hmm, if he instacalled the 4bet, his range might be wider than i said. he could have AK and be steaming since you already stacked him. im somewhat lost here too.

i myself would usually flat call the 3raise pf, and check/raise safe flops just to avoid putting myself in this spot.

yeh i probably should have took this line, but my reasoning was that because i thought he may have been steaming and would push fairly light preflop with a range like 99+ AJ,AQ,AK. Is the turn a fold then?

you beat 3 of his hands, lose to 6. and the Ax's are more likely than pocket pairs. this is a very marginal spot, but if you look at his bet as an all in (since he only has $50 behind, which pretty much always goes in on the river here) then you're looking at putting in $120 to win $280.

im assuming virtually no fold equity here, so you're slightly better than 2:1. and its around 2:1 with the range you put him on.

sooooo, i really dunno what to do. id fold for lower variance. but shoving has great metagame value in this spot. especially against an opponent you already stacked. he'll think you can't let go of big pairs no matter what, so if you can get a set on him in the near future, you could get it all back and more.
