I wouldn't fold JxJs to aggressive player here, but as i said, it wouldn't be an instacall. The check-fold line, i ment regarding the JJ without a spade, as opposed to the bet-fold i suggested in the beginning of the post.

Eh I said if you even consider the possibility of folding JxJs to Aba there, and if you aren't instacalling then you're at least giving some thought to folding, right? Unless you never instacall ever (not a bad thing) ..

I always give some thought to folding if i don't have the nuts or close to it, aren't you?

My thought process would be "Ok, he is allin, what does he have?I am significantly behind only to overpair with a spade and LAG would probably reraise all of those preflop, except maybe AA.He is probably on some sort of AsX, possibly 9x9s/TxTs.Even if he has overpair without a spade, i have 11 outs and the correct pot odds.I am ahead/close in equity to his range and have money invested already, I call".

As opposed to the situation when i would have AsKs here.
"You shove?I snap call Hellmuth style!".

In any case, what do you think about the Jacks without a spade scenario?
I'd personally fold.

I'm fairly certain that writing stuff in white doesn't mean it doesn't exsist, and I'm also fairly certain that poker stove doesn't work if you don't put good things in it.

Don't forget that the pot was 550$ and hero has about 700$ left. I Think the best line here is to check/push or check/check and see the turn. But c/f is a not bad play anyway. Hero holdins are one of the weakest of his 3betrange on that board, so c/f is definately not awful.

if y'all would just put him on ignore and then refrain from quoting his posts then we'd all be ok

although the (warning: more results stuff) <font color="white">"wow, I had no idea an overpair + OESFD was such a strong hand"</font> stuff was kinda funny
