Does anyone have an idea how much farther you can drive when this light goes on? Usually I get this done the next day, but I need to drive about 150km (~100 miles)more tonight.
I've tried googling, but can't seem to find an answer. |

86.9 miles is the limit once the light comes on. Sorry.

You could like check your oil and see if like maybe you should put more in and then like put more in. And if not like just drive and like get it taken care of after.

Keep driving. Stop as soon as practical if you hear any grinding noises.

Googling for the answer/making a post for the answer is obviously way easier than just adding a quart or two.

I changed my oil just before driving to Arizona last December. I drove back 6 days later (total miles ~3,000) and still haven't changed it.
Pretty sure you will be fine. |

I'm no mechanic, but if your light is coming on so often that this is a usual situation I would think your engine has some problems. You shouldn't need to add oil between changes unless your leaking or burning it, or maybe you just don't ever change it?

The oil ligth has nothing to do with changes!!!
It means you are critically low!!! Add a quart or two NOW!! Anything red = stop immediately, anything amber = I don't mean anything or it isn't important. |
