everyone just wants to argue instead of consider the other side's position and its evidence

[/ QUOTE ]

There is a huge body of documentation and charts and issues and science that he discusses

Totally.

You guys shouldn't even talk until you read through that whole site and show that you understand why God rules (and cubic divinity is awesome). If you just choose some part that looks silly, geez, honestly. You guys call yourself smart but you won't look at what a scientist has to say. Geez.

The guy claims to be a scientist but doesnt have a clue what the scientific method is.

this is total horse manure and shows no understanding of the scientific method

this renders the entire site as nothing more than the same old recycled attempts to give religion scientific credibility when there is none

You guys crack me up...There is a huge body of documentation and charts and issues and science that he discusses and you anally pick out this one chart that seemingly looks simplistic to criticize...How anal...Same thing when I posted the prophecies...picked on one prophecy when there were 100 to examine on the site and the site explicitly told you there were 100s of more prophecies...

Think maybe you guys need to switch to preponderance of the evidence over reasonable doubt as your judging standard ...this is just too important to miss out on...

[/ QUOTE ]

Splendour, you should just stop this. If it hasn't become evident to you yet there is some seriously high education on this forum. A lot of the people you are debating with here are scientists, or can be someday, if they want to. You can't lecture them on critical thinking or how to read something claiming to be scientific.

The simple fact is that the site you linked isn't scientific, what he is proposing isn't science - it is fake. This is why people are poking fun at it. He is using pseudoscience as a tool to spread his beliefs - there isn't even a debate to be had here about this. If god were to really exist the guy behind this site is doing him/her/it a disfavor.

Learn from this and move on.

Its interesting that, in the section on Proof of a Spiritual Realm, it includes the words of a man whose kids were killed at Colombine testifying before a senate committee. The text is nothing more then his personal belief that people need to pray more. Yet its appearance in the section would seem to indicate it is 'evidence' of something. What it is evidence of is the mystery. I suspect to a believer this is evidence of... what? (note- there is no science, proof or evidence really... is this actually supposed to be a compelling argument for God?!?!?)

God and Science Link to heartfelt but unscientific testimoney

Don't you realize that that's part of critical thinking?

[/ QUOTE ]

-10 pts for not referencing wikipedia's entry on critical thinking.

[/ QUOTE ]

-20 points, no footnotes(1).

(1)- LOL.

Splendour,

At the very least, start making fun of us for calling you a troll like NR does.
