It's like most big cities - neighborhoods change pretty quickly. Some of the bars are in not so nice of neighborhoods.

On a semi-serious note my knowledge of Friends really tilts me I used to watch it in syndication because nothing else was on. Than I realized it's target audience and it's humour was designed for women between 15-40.
