Default 25NL top 2 Is there a better line to take?

Only 30 hands on villain so far.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

<font color="#C00000">Button ($22.25)</font>
SB ($35.60)
BB ($45.80)
<font color="#C00000">UTG ($29.75)</font>
UTG+1 ($25)
MP1 ($23.05)
<font color="#C00000">Hero ($50.30)</font>
CO ($23.30)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.25, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1.25</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hutchy(ire) calls $1.25, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, UTG calls $1.

I raise it up and get 2 callers which seems to be the standard at this table. I'm looking to cbet here, hoping to take it down, or flop something juicy and possibly try to get stacks in if I hit 2 pair/straight/combo draw.

Flop: ($4.10) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">UTG bets $2</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $6</font>, UTG calls $4.

I hit 2 pair and get donked on the flop (this seems to happen a lot, so I raise it up again. I'd do this with less than 2pair but villain probably doesn't know that)

Turn: ($16.10) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">UTG bets $4</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $43.05</font>, UTG calls $18.50 (All-In).

After the villain donks again I put him on either a badly played AK, AsKx, K-x with no club, made flushes, sets, and randomness. I thought a call would be okay here, but thought that after raising flop, calling the turn would look weak and villain could push me out on river shove, and if river is a club, I'm puking.

River: ($61.10) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $81.65

What's a better line here? Raising more on the flop seems to be a good start, but then what? Thanks

When I see a donkbet for 1/2 pot I usually look for any draws out that villain could be trying to price himself in with. I like a flop raise to 8, then call him down definitely if he's going to bet 1/4 pot.

After his turn bet he has less than a PSB behind so yeah put him in.

Though people donking 1/2 pot bets with a flushdraw on board and betting it when it hits on the turn have it a lot.

I hate the turn raise, it sure looks to me like the villain made a flush.

His bet is so small I would call and hope to fill up. Maybe you can stack him if you do.

[/ QUOTE ]No implied odds for a four outer here. Folding the turn seems so weak/bad tho.

I dont like the Turn Raise. Often times you are beat if they call your AI.

I agree that a second donk bet on turn is a real hand often.

How does AcKx play this hand? I remember thinking that this was a good part of his range. I guess the size of the turn bet threw me off, since I figured the flush would bet more than 1/4 pot. Then again, I do have a tendency to raise donk bets on the flop and turn and it's paid off quite well.

Certaily true for flop-donk-bets and min-donk-bets on turn.
Non-min-donk-bets after villaing having been raised on flop... I´m not so optimistic. What kind of hands do they turn up?
