Don't worry Dan, it's not the worst pick.

You picked Tennessee, a 6.5 dog on the road, over Jacksonville. What were you thinking?

so what you're saying is, here:

Tennessee Titans +7 (-115)
Jacksonville Jaguars -7 (-105)

being '+' is not good? Oh well, GG me.

This means you if you wager 115 dollars on tennessee, you can add 7 points to their score, and with those 7 points if they win you win 100 dollars

So the experts think the Jaguars will beat the Titans by about 7 points

In. What percentage of POGgers will remain after week 1?

[/ QUOTE ]

That's really impossible to say as it's not only dependent on the people choosing the game, but the actual games themselves.

[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, that's what makes it a good question.

[ QUOTE ]
Assuming the top two games (in my opinion) pan out as they should, I would say 80-90% will move on.

[/ QUOTE ]
Incidentally, claiming that 80-90% will win "assuming the favorites win" is kinda crazy. I could predict that 100% of POGgers will move on if there are no upsets this week. But that'd be retarded.

For the record, the correct answer is ~60%.

well. 'experts' set the line. and then bettors bet and the line moves. I think the line opened at titans +6 1/2. And now moved to 7 which means more people bet against them so they give them more points hoping they get more action

good luck sir

No. '+' is '-' and '-' is '+', ldo. Couldn't be simpler.

No, but it's not as far away as you might think.
