Default 100NL Discipline

6max FTP, 100bb effective.
Villain is weak-tight. We just played a hand where he opened UTG with KQo and c/c a JTx flop and checked it all the way.

Villain limps in MP, Hero raises to 4.5 from CO w/A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Villain calls.

Flop(10)A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
check, Hero bets 8, Villain calls.

Turn(26)6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Villain checks, Hero bets 18, Villain raises to 43, Hero calls.

River(112)6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Villain bets 30, Hero...

Looks like 22 or 88 to me, but with your club draw I think the turn call is fine. And the river bet is so small that you might as well call it down.

You only improved against A2, I can't imagine he'd limp with AK so if youre behind, he has a rare 66,22,88 A6 or A8, if he has A6 or A8 he could have A2 just as often.

I can't make up my mind for sure though. If I had to say one way or the other I would probably call, given how small of a bet he made. You called his turn raise, if he had a strong hand, he has to think you have a hand and would try to value bet more, he also seems timid in marginalish spots (checking a draw w/ the lead).

well, you can't really fold the turn. and you can't really fold the river. if villain has a set, take a note that he makes weaksauce value bets and move on.

I fold to the river bet despite the odds.
