Re: 25NL AA vs paired flop.
Yeah I think it's time to push. You might get called incorrectly by a decent PP or even clubs. If he is on a club draw and is blocking, we should raise to charge him.

Re: 25NL AA vs paired flop.
On the flop, I think you should 3-bet his min-raise. It's possible that he has over-pairs, over-cards with FD. I 3-bet and call the shove.
As played, I shove the Turn. |

Re: 25NL AA vs paired flop.

You are WA/WB right now. I call the 2 and take a look at the turn. The problem with pushing on the flop is only and 8 or pkt 3's will call and you are drawing to 2 or 3 outs. [/ QUOTE ] 100% correct. Pushing will minimize your win if you are WA, whereas calling allows you the opportunity of having lesser hands pay you off. Taking a few hints from PNLHE, you need to do two things here: 1) Plan your hand NOW (are you willing to stack off here? Make the decision now, not later) 2) Understand that if you bet 1/3 your stack, in theory you are pot commited. |
