LMAO..... earlier in the thread I stated how ridic it was that Pronger gets away with interference. Again, the Sen dumps the puck in and Pronger goes out of his way to slow him down. This time it was a deliberate elbow to the face. I hope he gets suspended for a couple of games, but there's a huge chance he doesn't get suspended at all.

In the first game the puck was dumped in on the left side of the ice and Pronger took down a Senator on the right side that was a mile away from the puck.

With Pronger out who will score for Ottowa. Pronger is a selfish bum and will blame the Canadian media again for his suspension. He is the reason I want Anaheim to loose

He should have received either 0 games or 2+. Isn't it once your suspended a game, an additional suspension = however many games they feel it deserved + 1?

Typical of the NHL, bend the rules to make it 'fair.'

I'm a Sens fan and obviously I'd love to have seen Pronger get 5 games, but realistically, you have to think the ratio is something like:

1 Stanley Cup Finals game = 2 playoff games = 4 regular season games.

And it might even really be more steep, ie: 3 reg season games per playoff game...

So this is at least equivalent in severity to a 4 game regular season suspension, and maybe even 6 or 8.

If it was a first offence I'd say it's definately fair, but given he was just suspended two weeks ago in the last round, you kinda have to wonder WTF the league is thinking. Imagine if Pronger goes out in game 5 and does something again?

BTW - I've really, really been liking McAmmond's play in these playoffs and if he's out it's a much bigger blow to the Sens than typical of losing a 4th line guy.

if they happen in reverse order i think pronger gets 2-3 games at least. this hit wasn't malicious, just reckless and stupid. the previous hit was malicious without a doubt.
