super system is outdated, not overrated. if you are a true beginner it is worth a read, but the info in it is so well known at this point that it won't make you a winning player.

You said it better than myself, I just remember reading the NL Hold'em section when I first started playing (after reading the Harrington books) and being unimpressed.
