New Crowded House album - ship it!!!!

Yeah that's right! That band that had that song from the 80's before most of you internet poker playing whiper snappers were even born - "Don't Dream It's Over" - Yeah - that band.....
Once again, Neil Finn proves he's one of the best songwriters working today. Time on Earth is nothing short of brilliant. Started out as another Neil Finn solo album, but with the suicide of drummer Paul Hester, they found themselves back in touch, guitars were picked up and they have made one of their best.

It takes a little warming up to and doesn't hit the listener as fast as say Woodface, but after a few listens, you'll realize it's as good as anything they've done. Co-Produced by Steve Lillywhite (the man behind U2's 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 14th albums) They are touring the US now and I recommend you catch them. Top tracks - Don't Stop Now, Silent House, and Walked Her Way Down.

Crowded House and Split Enz are very underrated bands.

On an only slightly related note, Squeeze are touring for the first time in years. Finn and Tilbrook/Difford are amazing songwriters.

I got You was a classic. Saw the album on Itunes may take a risk and buy it

Excellent song. The rest of the album was very very good as well. I'd rank up there with the best Crowded House stuff.

I Got You has always been a top 5 song in my book. And I know it's easy to say that about 100 songs, but that's literally one of them for me. It's an incredible single. So when I saw the record for like $2 a few years back I picked it up. I wasn't too impressed with the rest of it, but to be fair I only gave it a couple listens.
