Re: too aggressive by me?
Please look at the FAQ about converting hands, it is generally bad form to post usernames in hands.
If I'm reading this converter correctly, you called a raise with only 2 people with low suited connectors. I don't think that is a good call. Once it is heads up the c/r is risky because you want two shots to catch your card and you want them cheap. Turn is standard. River would have been c/f unless you had a really good read that villain would fold a blank there and you are still going to lose too much b/c from people who just won't fold. |

Re: too aggressive by me?
Please use a hand history converter, see the FAQ.
Your call preflop is not bad, perhaps a bit borderline, your raise at the flop is, unless you have a read on villain. What you can take out of this hand is that you need to make a note on this guy, that he stabs at pots on the flop and then backs down after being raised and the raiser bets at next street. He is even nice enough to call your raise for more profit for you. One of the reasons you should use a hand history converter is that you might offend other 2p2'ers (in this case anyone who might be playing at a PokerRoom Skin) by naming them. I play a PokerRoom skin so I know of many of your opponents, I will make a note on your victim. |

Re: too aggressive by me?
Any reads?
[ QUOTE ] since i knew if I don't make my straight there is no way I'm winning [/ QUOTE ] I understand why people think this and decide they have to do whatever they can to fold out the field. But I just want to throw out there the idea that you can't win every hand and just because the only way to win a hand is by bluffing doesn't mean bluffing is going to win you the hand. |

Re: too aggressive by me?
No I didn't actually have any reads, ok so it was too aggressive? what about the call from small blind, 35 more cents to one raise + one call and big blind behind me to act?

Re: too aggressive by me?
Preflop is a clear fold to me. 23s is pretty crappy. (is the SB .15 on pokerroom instead of .10? ... if not then the call is even worse)
Other than that it seems fine. Semibluffing a decent draw on this board should be a pretty standard line once the button folds. Following through on the turn is pretty much mandatory since the PFR is going to call the flop CR with essentially anything. |
