I'd call the flop and see what happens on the turn.

agrea with this, although when they do this, they usually fire turn and river with weak bets and then you get shown QQ+ so i dont mind playing for set mining here either.

I would almost raise him here. Usually when people bet this small on the flop its almost always air. I would raise to like 3.50 and fold to a push.

Villain only has 16 to start with. So effective stack is 16...

putting yourself in a situation where you're folding to a c/r is kinda bad since it's poor commitment.

I like lego's idea of calling and seing what happens on the turn.

I would say the worst thing you could do on the flop is fold. You could raise him and try and take it down right there or call and let him bluff at it, but I think raising is the best option, and definitely fold to a push. Basically I think your general outlook on this type of hand is that you want to proceed with caution, but you don't want to let him force you out on a flop like this with such a small bet. You may have the best hand here, and he has yet to convince me that you don't.

it's a clear raise vs tag for me. he has pocket pair. vs unknown i will call and reev turn. he will probably check turn if he has pocket pair <TT and he will fold to Your bet.
