Default (1st mtt post help!)is this an easy fold? 20 left in $12 stars 180sng

I am new both to 2p2 and MTTS. I was previously a regular cash player so having to obv make massive adjustments. I started off beating these tourneys with 35% ROI after 100 but have since slipped dramatically. (You can have a look on sharkscope!). I know that this isn't just me running bad so I am hoping to seriously improve my strat/general mtt play. Any advice on posting would be greatly appreciated

In the hand in question the average stack is around 16k i think and the raiser has been all in 3 times in a row, this being the 3rd.

ok, i guess by the lack of views/replys i need to improve my posts a good deal. Is it just a boring hand or is content/ question already addressed a million times in the past?

No, you just posted in the middle of the night for many of the regulars on this board. And yes, two important ways to improve your post would be to use a hand converter (I use the one at flopturnriver.com, but there are many) and don't include results.

Anyway, given your read that this guy has pushed repeatedly, you're way ahead of his range. From my experience in the $12/180s, these stages are push-fests and you just have to put villains on ranges and get your chips in when you're ahead of that range. You did that and got unlucky.

And don't let the fact that you were on the bubble be a deterrent -- I'm sure you already know that these things are worthless unless you get to the final five or so, so playing conservatively to sneak into the money is terrible.

Matt

Edit: Not to mention the fact that you're at like 7 BBs and should be racing to get your chips in with a hand as good as AQ vs someone pushing every hand...

You have to shove here.

You're stack is too small to fold AQ preflop imho (unless something crazy happens, like a shove, a re-shove and a call, then you can fold).

To bad he had AK, but if he has pushed three times in a row, his range is much likely very wide.

This is an easy call - with M that low you are ahead of even the tightest range.

And as posted already - please use a converter and don't post results.

Welcome to the forums.
