Re: Trips on a 4 flush river
you dont have trips, you have a flush.
And the river is an easy fold. Small turn bet + big river bet = big hand just about always. |

Some donk pulled this line on me with total air when his draw whiffed; I interpreted the line as "give me cheap turn" followed by "give me cheap river" followed by "[censored] I missed plz go away" Dunno if I call, but it's worth considering. |

Re: Trips on a 4 flush river
raise flop, you're in position and he doesn't know what you have dont let him donk out and take control of the hand esp when u have top pair. as played river is a fold without reads.

while that may have happened... the draw HIT on the river here. [/ QUOTE ] There's no reason to put him on a one-club draw on the flop (where he only had a backdoor FD with one club thus no reason to semibluff a BDFD, and if he had two then he prob would have bet turn harder when he hit) and the river is a great bluff card. Again, not necessarily saying I call, but I don't think the line he took is a reason to discount bluffs from his range. |
