Looking for some suggestions on my play. Flop raise ok or should I have smooth called? Turn check ok? Thanks.

You gotta bet that turn against a bad player--your goal is to build as big a pot as you possibly can, and I don't like relying on the river to do that.

Yeah um, the PFR had made it $100 to go BLIND two different times in this session. The PF call is a good one.

Not too much wrong with calling $30 pre with QJo.... as long as the blinds are $15/$30.
Against aggressive maniacs, you can afford to be patient at full-ring. I'd just wait for a much better spot. Also, and you MAY be able to do something about this as you're playing live, you're not in the best seat. Against these type of players, you ideally want him on your immediate LEFT. This gives you relative position on each street. |
