Default Who will win: Dog or Football team?

Challenge: A Golden Retriever returns a kickoff against a NFL football kickoff special team. Will the dog be able to score a TD or will he get tackled?

Assumptions: Dog is specially trained to catch the ball in his mouth, no problems holding on to the ball, knows to stay in bounds and knows the objective to get a TD without being tackled. Football team can do any traditional football moves to tackle the dog (cant kick it etc..)

You guys discuss while my friends and I try to organize this real life scenario.

EDIT: For clarification, it is 1 dog vs. a football team.

Dog by a landslide.

I can't see the dog being fast enough or strong enough to score even 5% of the time.

Dive for the legs FTW.

Dogs can run 40mph, really fast runner (without football gear) 25mph. That's such a huge advantage.

edit: assumed we could choose our own dog, golden retrievers aren't as fast so I don't think it's dog by a landslide anymore.

I voted NFL team but then realized I was thinking 1 dog vs the other team. If it's 1 dog with his teammates blocking for him the dog should score easily.

I'm assuming it's 1 dog v whole team. I voted dog, because it seems it would be hard as hell to tackle him by the time he just ran past.

You think a dog is a better returner than Hester? Even last yrs top returnman couldnt "score easily" he scored like 8 times.

The dog would be hard to tackle cuz its so low, but it wouldnt not even be close to scoring easily, or at will.

But how many five year olds would it take to stop the dog?
