1) "intergastronological" -- This sounds like an awesome specialty - wish they had it when I was training.

2) Most likely cause - internal roid. If you bleed again, see a GI MD - he (or she) will shove a metal tube up your bunghole and slip a rubberband around it - the roid dies a miserable death and you poop it out.

3) Less likely - fissure - usually VERY painful
- cancer - bleed microscopically, not grossly
- bleeding diverticulm or AVM - you're likely
not old enough, but at least you have these
to look forward in your golden years.
