Default party 5/10 bottom two in a BvB war vs Chipseater

Chipseater is 24/20/4.25 but only over 320 hands so he may be less aggro than appears.

I don't have much history vs chipseater. I think he views me as generally nit/TAG as i play 20/16/2.5. I 3bet once when he raised SB and he folded and hes squeezed me once when i raised or called a raise, i dont remember.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $10 BB (6 handed) Hand History converter Courtesy of PokerZion.com

UTG ($185)
MP ($1440.50)
CO ($469.75)
Button ($1346.52)
SB ($1249)
Hero ($1342)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $30</font>, Hero calls $20.

Flop: ($60) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $45</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $165</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $500</font>.

I think its important how he views me to what he does with hands like A,K and A,Q. If he views me as even a TAG, without history, im not sure he 3bets A,Q or A,K and if he views me as a NIT, he may even fold these. I haven't played much 5/10 though so i maybe way off.

Thoughts plz

Wow, sick spot. I think on this board I'm fine getting it in with this many draws out there. I don't think him having a big ace here is impossible either, he might just figure that he probably has the best hand and doesn't want any more cards to roll off on this board. I've taken similar lines as villain with AK in this spot.

I think this is largely a pokerstove equation, but so much of that is very highly dependant of how he plays and I almost certainly couldn't construct an accurate range for him based solely on your description.

Interesting hand, but I'm in the shove camp, here. If stacks were deeper or the raise size was smaller I think calling and getting it in on the turn has some merits.

The board is too draw heavy to do anything other than shove. I don't like getting in with bottom two in a lot of spots either, but heads up on a an ace high flop where no straight or flush is possible, is one of the time where I'm happy to do so.

This is a sick spot. I think that folding and shoving are gonna be very very similar in terms of EV. In this spot I think I fold here, but during the hand There is a very good chance i'd say [censored] it and shove

ok so the responses so far say push yet im not sure it is correct. You have to think how u'd play vs a reg 20/16 TAG in this spot 130 deep.

if we do a pokerstove vs a range that includes 2pair, sets and all gutshot+F.Ds and pair+F.Ds we get 22% equity.

If we include A,K and A,Q into that, we get 45% equity so shoving here seems correct. If i was a LAG or had lots of history him then i can see him re-raising A,K and A,Q but without history i think he flat calls.

I haven't played much with this guy and dont no what he does with A,K and A,Q though. Thoughts?

I think he doesnt 3bet that often w/AQ, but I think there are going to be times he does this w/clubs or QJ or other stuff like this.

I also think this is an easy spot to stick it in. Two pair in a blind battle on a drawy board w/ taggy regulars?...stick it in.

I guess its closer if he thinks you're nitty but now way i'm folding.
