Default 25NL - KJo from button vs LAG

MP is 70/30/3 thru 40 hands. BB is unknown.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

SB ($29.35)
BB ($9.85)
UTG ($24.70)
MP ($29.45)
Hero ($19.80)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises to $1</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2.5</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, BB calls $2.25, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises to $5</font>, Hero folds.

Since MP was raising a lot preflop, I decided to try to isolate him since I had an OK hand vs. his range and I had position. BB screwed up my plans though. Once MP re-raised, I worried about calling and having the BB go all-in leaving me 3-way with a marginal holding. So, I decided to fold. Was my reasoning okay here?

I like the fold, BB is showing real strength in calling the raise here, you can't possibly be ahead at this point.

I make original 3b to $3.5 or $4.

Your 3b gets called and he min 4b reraises.

Looks like a huge hand to me.
If you call and hit a K72 flop I'm not too excited.

Thank him for saving you some money postflop.
